I probably shouldn’t post personal things on here, but enough is enough. Once again today I had to take time out of work to pick up my girlfriend’s daughter because her head was infested with lice after visiting their father’s house. This isn’t anything new; as a matter of fact, it’s getting REALLY old. This has been consistent for over 2 years now.
In 28 years I’ve NEVER had head lice. My two boys have each gotten it one time from school in 8 and 9 years. My baby, despite constant exposure, has not gotten them in the past year. So how fucking dirty do you have to be to have your house so infested with this shit that it’s impossible to get rid of?
These poor kids have to go through having their hair combed through and acidic shampoo being left on their head every fucking week. I guess being 36, paying your parents $150 a month for rent and utilities, having to borrow your mother’s cell phone because you can’t afford your own, working two days a week; if that, stealing cable from your parents because you can’t pay your bills, and telling your kids you can’t do anything with them otherwise you won’t be able to feed them the two days a week you have them has become acceptable in our society. To top it off, you have chronic head lice (which I’m convinced have mutated and are immune to all treatments).
I may not be the most successful person in the world, with a big house and fancy cars, but I think I have a right in this case to call someone else a fucking loser waste of life!

I understand the legal system is there for a reason. People get hurt, screwed, wronged in one way or another. They deserve justice.
I received an e-mail at work today. They’re starting the “Spring Walk”. To enourage workers to stay healthy and fit, they give entries for drawings out to those who walk a half hour every day during their lunch break. I was pretty excited to see the e-mail, little things like this motivate me.
Then the part that pissed me off. I downloaded the registration form; there was a space for name, division, signature, date, and this lovely blurb:
I know that running/walking is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race/walk official relative to my ability to safely complete the activity. I agree not to wear a headphone during this event. I assume all risks associated with running and/or walking in this event including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather including heat or humidity, traffic and conditions, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts, and in consideration of your accepting my entry, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release <<COMPANY NAME WITHHELD>> and their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event.
This is just sad folks. Here the company is trying to do something to help encourage you to better your life, but some lawyer-toting lazy fat ass with a heart condition (who as an adult should have damn known better), decided to jump out in front of a car, have a heart attack, or some other bullshit to file a lawsuit for a free meal.
The fact that our society has gotten to the point where you have to have someone sign a waiver when you’re trying to help them is just pathetic… to whoever screwed the company in the past leading to this: get a job and GET A FUCKING LIFE!!!
