I’ve been a reputable eBayer for years, as both a buyer and a seller. So, why is it that some douche bag gets to stroll along, bid on an item without reading the auction, and piss me off by having the funds on my PayPal account held.
I clearly stated in the auction:
When I tried to install the latest nVidia drivers, Windows crashed. Although the card does work in it’s most basic form, because I was unable to fully test it, I’m selling it strictly AS-IS.
What does that tell you? I tried it, it crashed, it’s AS-IS!!! Under “Returns” it was marked “The seller will not accept returns for this item”. Maybe someone out there knows how to fix this, or a way around it. Maybe older drivers will work. I don’t, I don’t care. That’s why I sold it; AS-Freaking-IS!
Now I have to wait up to a month for PayPal to release the $82 being held on my account. It’s called buyer’s remorse… suck it up and deal with it. I’ve bought AS-IS auctions before, they were shipped fast, packed well, and even though the items didn’t work, I left positive feedback. It was my choice to buy something that was potentially garbage and I lived with it. I guess this Jack-Off isn’t quite as enlightened!
